School safety is important to us. You are safe! We do our best to ensure that!! In spite of the headlines, schools are still among the safest places for you to be. Although there is no absolute guarantee that something bad will never happen, it is important to understand the difference between the possibility of something happening and probability that it will affect you (our school community).

School safety is important to us! You are safe! We do our best to ensure that!! That's why: -the school doors are locked all day -we practice emergency drills. -we use a professional safety consultant -we have a school emergency procedure manual -we have fire, tornado, secure mode, shelter in place, and lockdown drills and procedures -teachers are in hallways -we have video surveillance & we monitor it -teachers close their classroom doors -exterior doors are locked, -we have child monitors on the playground -we have emergency drills practiced during the school day. -law enforcement is visible and interacting with students and staff regularly -we coordinate with police, fire, and emergency services
