Hemlock High School Student of the Week Sponsored by Fullerton Tool – Logan Burback
Hemlock High School is proud to announce sophomore Logan Burback as this week’s Student of the Week. Logan has stood out not only for his dedication to his studies but also for his passion and commitment to his future career.
What part of the school day does Logan enjoy the most?
Logan's favorite part of his school day is his shop classes. "Before last year, I didn’t know much about mechanics, but this year I’ve become a much better mechanic," Logan said. His growth in these classes highlights his willingness to learn and improve, and he’s gained valuable skills that he can use in his future.
Who has been Logan's biggest inspiration or role model?
When asked about his role model at school, Logan didn’t hesitate to mention Mr. Yuvan, one of his teachers. "To be entirely honest, I’d probably have to say Mr. Yuvan because he’s not afraid to tell you the truth and doesn’t sugarcoat things like lots of other people do." Logan appreciates straightforwardness and respects those who are honest, which reflects his own character.
What subjects or activities is Logan passionate about?
Logan is most passionate about his shop classes, where he has learned a great deal. His enthusiasm for hands-on learning has helped him excel, and it’s clear that he has a strong interest in applying these skills in the real world.
What are Logan's future career plans?
Looking toward the future, Logan plans to become a heavy equipment operator after high school. "When I get out of school, I want to be a heavy equipment operator. I plan on going to a school in Marquette." He’s already thinking ahead and preparing for this path by gaining skills and knowledge now.
A Word from Principal Mr. Green
"Logan’s integrity and honesty are qualities that make him a standout student at Hemlock High School. His straightforward approach to life and learning, along with his determination, will take him far in whatever career he chooses to pursue," said Principal Keith Green. "He is setting himself up for success every day, and we are proud to have students like Logan in our school community."
Hemlock High School congratulates Logan Burback for his achievements, and we look forward to seeing where his hard work and passion take him in the future.
