Hello Hemlock Band!
Due to current restrictions, we are going to postpone band camp at this time. We are trying to buy some more time for regulations to loosen. We will continue to evaluate as the situation changes. The new camp dates are Aug 10-14. We understand that our families may have plans already set and that is ok. We want a productive camp, but most importantly we want our kids safe.

Graduation Under the Lights for the class of 2020 is 1 week away, July 22nd at 8 pm the gates will open at 7pm. Due to currently being in Covid phase 4, graduation spectators will be restricted to “PARENTS ONLY”. The commencement ceremony will be held at Wallace field. Please plan to adhere to the Governor's mandate for social distancing in the bleachers and mask requirements if you plan on attending. Limited concessions will be available. Commencement will be streamed live on the NFHS Network APP. Go Huskies!!!

Hemlock Area STEM Center received a $1,600 DTE grant for battery chargers and batteries. DTE is a proud sponsor of the STEM Center and is providing Merrill, Swan Valley, Freeland, St. Charles, and Hemlock Robotics a 3 bank battery charger and two robot batteries.

Area Farmers Come Through for Hemlock Area STEM Center.
We just received great news from the Bayer Foundation, "Your school district is now among an elite group of finalists being considered by the America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education Farmer Advisory Council to receive a grant." We have received two $10,000 grants over the past 3 years. This one would be worth $15,000.
