It is with honor to announce Alexandria Grzenia as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Ten students. Alex is the daughter of Wesley and Anna Grzenia. She will be attending the University of Michigan to major in Radiation Therapy. Alex is a member of the National Honor Society and has won the HAIL scholarship. She has participated on the track team for 2 years and cross country for 3 years.

Hemlock High School teacher, Dana Lockwood is recognized as a STEM Star for 2022. Dana received her award at a regional banquet dedicated to celebrating excellence in STEM education at Saginaw Valley State University. #huskietastic #bettertogether #since1863


It is with honor to announce Grace Oldenburg as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Ten students. Grace is the daughter of Kevin and Kalli Oldenburg. She will be attending Michigan State University to major in Human Biology after graduation. Grace is a member of the National Honor Society, she is the Student Council Secretary and the Senior Class President. She is also the captain Hemlock Varsity Poms and has made the Delta College President's List.


Don’t forget your class dues of $45. Class dues can be broken up by year: $10/$10/$10/$15; or they can be paid in one lump sum. Payment can be in the form of a check or cash and can be turned into the office. Class dues are utilized to pay for things like prom, graduation, class trip and other expenses over the course of high school.

The Class of 2024 is selling Hemlock inspired Pura Vida bracelets. Bracelets will be sold at both lunch hours and home sporting events. Bracelets are $5 each with three color options: blue & white; blue, gray & white; or spring/summer multi. Please contact a Class Advisor for further information.

It is with honor to announce Samantha Seidel as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Ten students. Samantha is the daughter of Ann and Dan Seidel. She will be attending Michigan State University to major in Kinesiology. Samantha is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council President and the Senior Class Vice President.

It is with honor to announce Chayton Ross as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Ten students. Chayton is the son of Steve and Courtney Ross. He will be attending University of Michigan to major in sports management. Chayton is a member of the National Honor Society, FRC Robotics Team and is an Eagle Scout. Chayton has played Varsity Soccer for 3 years and was part of the All Conference Team for the 2021 season. He also participates in band and the Auburn United Soccer Club.
