2022 Senior Spotlight Madison Blue What has been your favorite class at HHS? Why? Consumers math with Mrs. Bry because it has taught me so much about real world finances that I will need to use out of high school. What activities have you participated in? Soccer, basketball and volleyball What are your plans for after graduation? I plan on going to Delta for physical therapy program and then transferring to Eastern Michigan for a Bachelor and Masters in Athletic Training.

2022 Senior Spotlight Bethany Beck What has been your favorite class at HHS? Why? Zoology because Mr. Slate is really funny. What activities have you participated in? Soccer, basketball, NHS, Student Council, Art Club, Spirit Club, Yearbook, and Peer to Peer. What are your plans for after graduation? I'll be attending Liberty University to major in Elementary Education.

2022 Senior Spotlight Samantha Seidel What has been your favorite class at HHS? Why? My favorite class has been Advanced Chemistry. The people in my class made sure a single class was never dull. What activities have you participated in? Soccer, Theatre, and Basketball What are your plans for after graduation? I plan on attending Michigan State University to get my doctorate as a Sports Medicine Physician.

All of my English classes because all of the English teachers are fantastic, passionate and are all amazing at their jobs. What activities have you participated in? Student Council, class officers, band, theatre, soccer, culinary, Early Middle College What are your plans for after graduation? Continue Early Middle College, then transfer to go into psychology.

Elite Fitness, I liked Elite Fitness so much because it tested my body's ability everyday and pushed it to get better throughout the year. What activities have you participated in? 2022 Senior Spotlight Hannah Metiva What has been your favorite class at HHS? Why? Accounting because I have learned a lot about business and realized I’m really good at math. Ever since I took that class I wanted to be an accountant. What activities have you participated in? none What are your plans for after graduation? Full time for Shinners and Cook then hopefully college at Northwood University for accounting.

2022 Senior Spotlight Alison Grove What has been your favorite class at HHS? Why? My favorite class was English with Mrs. Metiva because she is humorous, an intellect, and gives wise advice. What activities have you participated in? I was a part of the Hemlock Varsity Pompon team for four years, band for four years, Hemlock High School Theatre program for two years, and volleyball for one year. What are your plans for after graduation? After graduation I plan on finishing out the Early Middle College program at Delta College and then transferring to a university for an undecided career.

2022 Senior Spotlight Kaitlyn Miller What has been your favorite class at HHS? Why? Psychology with Mrs. Schuknecht. Psychology class was one of my favorite classes because of the teacher, and the material we learned. Mrs. Schuknecht always had a fun way of teaching lessons with games, activities, etc. She was always understanding with homework and was always there for you in and out of school. What activities have you participated in? I did Pom Pon from 7th Grade all the way up until my Sophomore year of high school. I took a break my Junior year and then rejoined my Senior year for the 2021-22 football season. What are your plans for after graduation? I plan to continue working at my current job over the summer. In the fall, I will begin training courses at the Acme Institute to obtain my realtors license. My end goal is to have my own real estate team under Century 21.

What activities have you participated in? None What are your plans for after graduation? Going to the SOAR program at the Transitions Center.
