It is with highest honor to announce Ana Rodriguez as Hemlock High School’s Class of 2024 Valedictorian. Ana is the daughter of Marcos and Melissa Rodriguez. After graduation she will finish her third year of the Early Middle College Program and then transfer to the University of Michigan to major in Computer Engineering. Ana has been a member of the National Honor Society for two years and a Chief Science Officer for three years. She won the MSU Outstanding Junior Award and has received a Certificate of Merit from the Society of Women in Engineering at Michigan Tech. Ana has been a team leader and main driver for our world class robotics team, Gray Matter. She has also been on our snow sculpting team for three years and team captain for one year. Congratulations, Ana!
It is with highest honor to announce Avery Ross as Hemlock High School’s Class of 2024 Salutatorian. Avery is the daughter of Steve and Courtney Ross. After graduation she will attend Saginaw Valley State University to major in biochemistry as a pre-dental student. Avery has been a member of the National Honor Society for two years and made the Delta College President's List for earning a 4.0 GPA in Dual Enrollment.. She won the individual academic all-state football award and the all-conference and all-state soccer keeper award in 2023. Avery has been a member of student council for four years, Class of 2024 Treasurer for four years and drum major for band for two years. Congratulations, Avery!
It is with honor to announce Daniel Killingbeck as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Daniel is the son of Becky and Don Killingbeck. After graduation he will finish his 3rd year of Early Middle College. Daniel is a member of the National Honor Society and plays varsity tennis and varsity soccer. He is also a member of the Snow Carving team, Hemlock Robotics and theater. Congratulations Daniel!

It is with honor to announce Bella Guerrero as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Bella is the daughter of Manuel and Izabel Guerrero. After graduation she plans to work full time. Bella has played varsity tennis for three years and is currently a CO-OP at McDonald's. She enjoys expressing her creativity in art class for the last four years. Congratulations Bella!
It is with honor to announce Kendall Fanning as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Kendall is the daughter of Kathryn and Aaron Fanning. After graduation she plans to attend Delta College to major in Physical Therapy. Kendall has been a member of the National Honor Society for two years, a member of the NTHS and Student Council vice president. She is enrolled in the PTA Academy at SCC through Early Middle College at Delta and is a two time regional finalist for HOSA. Congratulations Kendall!

It is with honor to announce Alyssa Rivette as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Alyssa is the daughter of Tony and Jamie Rivette. After graduation she plans to attend GVSU Honors College or the University of Michigan to major in Chemical Engineering. Alyssa has been a member of the National Honor Society for two years, senior class president and a Saginaw County Youth Ambassador. She has been on varsity pompon for 4 years and won the state championship twice. Alyssa has been on the Mid-American Pompon All Star Team for 4 years and was the recipient of the Mid-American Pompon scholarship. Congratulations Alyssa!
Hemlock High School's Student Council and Peer-to-Peer Program present our 1st Valentine's Day Carnation Fundraiser. Parents can purchase flowers for their students to be given on Valentine's Day at school. To make a purchase please send an email to Mrs. Bell at bell@hemlockps.com with the student's name you are sending the flowers to, the quantity needed, and any saying you would like for a card. Parents will need to pay for flowers via cash or check to the office. Students can purchase flowers during both lunches on Valentine's Day. Thank you for your support!

It is with honor to announce Emily Garcia as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Emily is the daughter of Brooke and Joel Wirtz and Ruben Garcia. After graduation she is undecided on what college she will attend and plans to major in medicine. Emily has been a member of the National Honor Society for two years. She is also a member of HHS's book club and she is a CO-OP at Hemlock Semiconductor. Congratulations Emily!

It is with honor to announce Lauren Borsenik as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. Lauren is the daughter of Monica and Benjamin Borsenik. After graduation she will attend Concordia University where she received a scholarship to play collegiate basketball and will major in Sonography. Lauren has earned BCAM's All State Honorable Mention award and All Conference every year for basketball and softball. She won the Girls Basketball state championship title in 2023 while maintaining above a 4.0 GPA all of high school. Congratulations Lauren!
