Recently, the Hemlock High School’s Concert Band performed at Caro High School for a band festival. They received an overall rating of Division I. This is the highest rating, labeled as superior.
“I am proud of the work that these band students do on a daily basis. They work very hard to master their craft, and this is a time that we love to showcase it,” shared Band-Director Chase.
Hemlock also recently sent the following students to the State Solo & Ensemble Festival held at Lapeer High School: Abby Grossmeyer - Flute Solo, Phil Spannagel - Marimba Solo, Samantha Kaczmarek - Cello Solo, and our percussion ensemble made up of: Elizabeth Swidorski, Noelle Kenny, Phil Spannagel, Caitlin McQuiston, Ethan Ludwig, Greison McLeod, Andrew Knoll, and Nick Stemple.
