Hemlock High School has added a new opportunity for students with the addition of Computer Coding. Science teacher, Jamie Slate, attended the training for code.org. Code.org is an educational innovation opportunity that expands access to computer science in K-12 education. This new class will teach students basic computer coding skills, which will enable them the skills to meet the new workforce. Mr. Slate will also incorporate many engineering principles that mesh with the needs of our students.
