Hemlock High Schools’ staff member of the month is Lindsey Morris.
Mrs. Morris joined the Hemlock community eight years ago when she moved into Hemlock with her husband Ryan and their children, who are Hemlock students, in two different buildings. Lindsey started working for the district in 2015 and previously worked as a server while progressing to cooking for the High School.
Lindsey graduated from Arthur Hill in 2004 and joined the Army reserve four years later. She served our country proudly for eight years, and we are very proud to have her represented as a Veteran on our staff.
“The thing I love most about Hemlock is being able to watch my children grow up in a community and school with high values and a family atmosphere,” Lindsey Morris said.
“Lindsey (and all of our kitchen staff) are cheerleaders for all of our students. During the pandemic, she worked countless hours getting food ready for students to have meals at home. Lindsey also helps with anything we need around the building, and she will often be caught with a paintbrush in her hand. Lindsey truly lives the idea of 'see a need fill a need,'" said Keith Green, High School Principal
Thank you, Mrs. Morris, for being a leader in our pack. #pullthesled.
