The Hemlock Business Association recently held a contest in partnership with Hemlock Public School District to update the organization’s logo. There were numerous entries, but one stood out to the selection committee and was unanimously selected as the winner.
Hemlock Business Association selected the logo, which was submitted by Coryn Boyke, a Hemlock High School student currently enrolled in Business System Technology (BST).
BST teacher, Dana Lockwood noted how appreciative she was of the business association partnership in this activity and others.
The Hemlock Business Association networks with area businesses, leaders and school officials to bring collective ideas together to enable the promotion of Hemlock and the surrounding area. Membership is open to any person or persons operating a business within Richland Township or the Village of Hemlock, or any outside businesses interested in supporting the Hemlock community.
Superintendent Don Killingbeck said, “Partnerships like this are part of what makes Hemlock such a wonderful community.”
