Hemlock Elementary School is thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of events for the month of May, designed to provide our young 5s and kindergarten students with engaging learning experiences while fostering a fun and vibrant atmosphere within our school community.
Throughout the month, our students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of hands-on activities and events that promise to spark their curiosity and creativity. From habitat projects to tie-dying shirts, every activity is carefully crafted to not only enhance learning but also to create lasting memories for our students.
One of the highlights of our May calendar is Cotton Candy Day, where students will indulge in the sweet delight of cotton candy while learning about the science behind its creation. This tasty event is sure to be a hit among our young learners!
Additionally, our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is organizing a thrilling Field Day, packed with exciting games and activities that promote teamwork and physical fitness. It's a day our students eagerly anticipate each year.
We are excited to announce a special field trip to Saginaw Zoo, where our kindergarten students will have the opportunity to explore and discover the wonders of the animal kingdom firsthand. This immersive experience promises to be both educational and entertaining for our young explorers.
