Volleyball Head Coach

Maggie Muter-Devericks returns to the Hemlock High School volleyball program as the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach. After five seasons away from the program, she returned for the 2024 season as the varsity assistant coach under former varsity coach Pete Salo. “I am so glad that I had the opportunity to share a year with Pete. He worked hard to build up the program and established a culture within the program that I hope to continue to grow.”

Coach Devericks brings with her a wealth of experience, a passion for the sport, and a commitment to fostering growth and success both on and off the court. With over fifteen years of experience in coaching and a deep understanding of the game, she is ready and excited to take the program to the next level.  Athletic Director, Angela Pohl states, "With her leadership, energy, and dedication she will undoubtedly inspire the players to reach new heights. “I am confident that our volleyball program will continue to build on its successes and continue to cultivate a strong, competitive atmosphere.”

With the promotion of Coach Devericks to the varsity position, the assistant coach position will be posted later this spring.
