Hemlock Public School District Board of Education regularly honors individuals or groups for outstanding work and contributions to the school district’s success. This past month was no different.
The members of Hemlock Board of Education were honored by the Michigan Association of School Boards for service to the school and community. The school district has thrived under their governance and leadership, with the most stable enrollment, innovative program development, and service.
The Board of Education graciously accepted the honor in the presence of support staff, teachers, administrators, students, and community members in attendance at the January board meeting.
Superintendent Killingbeck said “We are blessed to have a wonderful group of dedicated individuals that serve on the Hemlock Board of Education. In my 20 years in education, this is one of the best teams that I have known and worked with; they are focused on the big picture and committed to making our district the best possible place for children to learn and grow.”
If you would like to nominate an individual or group for the Cause for Applause Award, forms are located on the district website or by visiting the central office located at 200 Wilson Street.
