Hemlock Public School District Board of Education regularly honors individuals or groups for outstanding work and /or contributions to student success. This past month was no different.
The Board of Education held their September meeting at Hemlock High School, and elected to honor high school parent-Heidi Kanouse, support staff members-Mike Walton and Annette Guettler, high school teacher-Amy Bry and retiring athletic trainer-Becky Raube.
These five individuals were all nominated for the recognition due to their extra efforts to make Hemlock Public School District a great place for children to learn and grow. Each of them graciously accepted the honor in the presence of support staff, teachers, administrators, students, and community members who were in attendance at the board meeting.
High School Principal Keith Green said, “We all appreciate the personal contributions and efforts that these individuals have made to help support our student body.”
Superintendent Don Killingbeck said, “This is one way we try to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of our employees. I would encourage everyone to nominate someone who goes above and beyond for recognition.
Forms can be located on the district website or by visiting the central office located at 200 Wilson Street.
