Hemlock Public School District Board of Education regularly honors individuals or groups for outstanding work and /or contributions to student success. This past month was no different.
The Board of Education held their May meeting and elected to honor PTO President Cheryl Hagerty, Middle School Drama Coach Megan Scott, and Robotics Mentors Tom and Dana Lockwood.
These four individuals were all nominated for the recognition due to their extra effort to make Hemlock Public School District a great place for children to learn and grow.
Hemlock Board of Education President Dr. Ellison said, “These dedicated school and community members are what make Hemlock a great place to be! Every month I look forward to recognizing their service.”
All honorees graciously accepted the recognition in the presence of support staff, teachers, administrators, students, and community members in attendance.
Superintendent Don Killingbeck said, “This is one way we try to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of our employees. I would encourage everyone to nominate someone who goes above and beyond for recognition.”
Forms can be located on the district website: hemlockps.com under central office, and are marked employee recognition form or feel free to stop by the central office located at 200 Wilson Street.
