Hemlock Public School District Board of Education regularly honors individuals or groups for outstanding work and /or contributions to student success. This past month was no different.
The Board of Education held their regular March meeting and elected to honor bus driver, Bonnie Engel.
Principal Lori Gensch nominated Bonnie for her dedication and care for students, and for contributing above and beyond the call of duty.
Engel graciously accepted the honor in the presence of fellow support staff members, teachers, administrators, students, and community members in attendance.
Hemlock Board of Education President Dr. Ellison noted, “Employees, like Bonnie, who are dedicated to our school are what make Hemlock a great place to be! Every month I look forward to recognizing their service.”
Superintendent Don Killingbeck, said, "This is one way we try to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of our employees. I would encourage everyone to nominate someone who goes above and beyond for recognition.”
Forms can be located on the district website: hemlockps.com under central office, and are marked employee recognition form or feel free to stop by the central office located at 200 Wilson Street.
