Hemlock Public School District Board of Education regularly honors individuals or groups for outstanding work and/or contributions to student success. This past month was no different. The Board of Education honored Richland Township Police, Jack Doyle, and Richland Township Fire Department, Mike Morse, and Hemlock’s Building and Grounds Director, Rick Crofoot.
Middle School Principal Terry Keyser nominated the township’s police and fire department for all their help and support in keeping our students safe.
Superintendent Don Killingbeck nominated Rick Crofoot for receiving the highest achievement award from his recently completed Dale Carnegie course.
Hemlock Board of Education President Dr. Ellison said, “Hemlock Schools are a great place because of excellent community relationships and talented staff. These monthly honors only scratch the surface of all that we have to be grateful for.”
These honorees graciously accepted this recognition the presence of support staff, teachers, administrators, students, and community members in attendance at the November board meeting.
Superintendent Don Killingbeck said, “This is one way we try to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of partnering organizations or employees. I would encourage everyone to nominate someone who goes above and beyond for recognition.”
