Cell Phone Usage in School
We at Hemlock Public School District are proud to have our students use technology in learning by providing Chromebooks for classroom use and options for students to be able to take them home. Student use of their own technology at school for learning is no longer necessary. Parents can help by reminding their students that cell phones are to be kept in their lockers, or for our high school students-they can keep in their cars.
Cell phones may be taken if they are a disruption in the classroom. A parent may be notified after multiple occurrences to pick up the phone at school.
Students may use their phones before the start of the school day, between class periods, lunch time, and after the conclusion of school.
