Hemlock Public School District is excited to welcome the next generation of Huskies with our Young 5s & Kindergarten Round Up for the 2025-26 school year! Families are invited to join us on March 11th, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at Hemlock Elementary (200 Wilson St.) for an engaging and informative evening designed to help students and parents feel at home in our school community.
This special event allows families to meet our dedicated teachers, explore classrooms, and complete important enrollment paperwork. Parents are encouraged to attend with their incoming Young 5 or Kindergarten students to fully experience this event.
A Special Welcome for Our New Huskies
This year, we are making the Round Up even more memorable! Our newest Huskies will have the opportunity to participate in "Signing Day" by signing a fun certificate to officially join the Huskie Pack. Families can also enjoy photo opportunities and each new student will receive a welcome goodie bag to take home.
While students explore a classroom and begin building connections with teachers in the building, Principal Cory Snider will host a parent-only presentation, offering insight into a typical day at Hemlock Elementary. He will also explain the key differences between Young 5s and Kindergarten, ensuring parents feel confident in making the best decision for their child’s educational journey.
