Our safety slogan is, "Think Safe, Ride Safe, Be Safe". We want our students to always practice this. But, it takes more than the students...it takes you as a parent involved as well.
Below you will find some helpful information as we begin planning for next year. Please read the following letter from our Superintendent.
Dear Parents /Guardians:
In order to continue to increase efficiencies and be cost effective, we will once again be requiring students to register to ride the school bus for the 2012-2013 school year.
Many students are transported to school by a parent, drive themselves or ride with a friend. In order to provide an efficient and effective pupil transportation service, we need your help. We need to identify whether or not students require transportation services.
Please let us know your student's transportation needs for the 2012-2013 school year. You can do this by filling out the attached registration form and return it to your student's first period teacher by May 18 (if you have more than one student, fill out a registration form for each student). Please do not register for transportation services if you have alternative transportation plans. This causes the district to schedule more seats and possibly travel more miles than necessary, defeating our cost saving efforts. It is important to know that if your circumstances change and it becomes necessary for your student(s) to have transportation services, you can submit a new registration form(s) to implement transportation services within a reasonable start-up time.
We appreciate your cooperation. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Transportation office at (989) 642-8338.
Sincerely,
Corinne Netzley Superintendent |
Please print the Parent Bus Registration form below and submit it to the appropriate person. We also have attached one of our School Bus Safety brochures with some valuable information and our Discipline Policy. Please print these as well. |
