Welcome to Hemlock Food Service 2012-2013

Hemlock uses Meal Magic for our food service program, this offers an ongoing account for each student detailing their account history.  You can deposit money onto your childs account by going to SendMoneyToSchool.com (there is a $2.00 transaction fee), or you can send in cash or a check made out to Hemlock Food Service.  If you have more than one child, please indicate how much money you would like put on each students account.  If you would like email reminders of your childs balance when it gets low, please send me your email address and you will receive weekly email reminders until the balance is brought up. 

If you would like to fill out a free or reduced meal application please go to LunchApp.com or you can pick up an application at any school office.

Due to the Healthy Hunger-Free Act of 2010 the National School Lunch Program has mandated several changes to the menus effective this school year.  We are excited about these new and healthy changes which are intended to educate children on healthy eating habits and help control childhood obesity issues. 

Hemlock's Food Service Department has 10 dedicated employees helping to ensure that your child takes a well balanced meal.  Please let us know if your child has any type of allergy or specific food item that they cannot have.  This may need to be supported by a doctors note.

We do not want students charging their meals! This benefit is for those occassional forgotten lunches or lunch money. The student is expected to pay back their balance the following day. If they charge more than one week's worth of meals they may be served an alternative snack until their balance is rectified. Please ensure that your child always has money on their account.

Middle School:  lunch $1.75   breakfast $1.15

High School: lunch $1.80 breakfast $1.15
